1What is AFEEC?
The Asia Family Enterprise Excellence Conference (AFEEC) is an advocacy effort to strengthen family businesses through shared learning, connections, and collaboration of family business stakeholders, family members, practitioners, and researchers. The objective is to see resilience and sustainability in braving the new world in every family business that come to connect, collaborate, and forge shared learnings within the conference, virtually. AFEEC evolved from the Family Enterprise Excellence (FEEC), now reaching a broader regional scope. FEEC is a biennial event for families in business held in the Philippines since 2010. There have been 5 conferences since then. Premier Family Business Consulting, Inc., supported by Family Business Network Asia and in cooperation with Family Firm Institute (FFI), is excited to partner with you in this exciting virtual event in the new normal.
2What makes AFEEC 2021 different from the rest of the past conferences?
The conference will bring in 16 Speakers, 32 Panelists, 1500 Families in Business across Asia, all done virtually so attendees can stay safe in their homes. This is the first time the conference goes fully digital! So wherever you are, you can join this exciting event all from your computer, mobile, or tablet.
3What is the purpose of AFEEC?
It aims to empower and inspire family businesses with best practices in uniting families and business systems.
4Who can attend the AFEEC?
Family business owners, shareholders, professional consultants, and media reporters from anywhere in the world.
5How many delegates are expected to attend?
Around 1,500 delegates are projected to attend. In the last FEEC in 2018 held at Marco Polo Plaza in Cebu city, about delegates attended. With a virtual venue and more international speakers in line, we project to almost double the attendance rate this 2021.
6Why should I attend the AFEEC?
It’s the only conference in the Philippines that gathers international professional family business advisors that only happens every two years. It provides a unique opportunity to learn and network with fellow family business owners or decision-makers of family businesses. It is also a virtual conference; you can attend the event while staying safe in your home.
7Where is the event held?
Virtually through any device. We use an integrated, enterprise-class, and proprietary Event Management platform that can take you from one talk to another, let you participate in panel discussions, and help you connect with others to widen your network.
8What are your discount or special promos for tickets?
We only have discounted rates for early purchase of tickets until April 30, 2021. You can get free tickets if you become one of our event partners or sponsors.
9Who is the organizer of the event?
Premier Family Business Consulting, Inc. is organizing the event for the 6th time this 2021. The first FEEC happened in 2011 in Cebu.
